Pride of Wells

This 2009 Valente into is called PRIDE OF WELLS, named by Cindy and Ron, back in 1999, after a wonderful fishing boat that still, today, works out of Perkin's Cove, Maine. This handsome guy has a brilliant, scarlet-red flower with a yellow-green throat. The flowers are 5"-6" in diameter. He stands 21" tall in the garden, blooms mid-season, has semi-evergreen foliage, has 2-way to 3-way branching, with a 15+ bud count per scape; (ROBESPIERRE x PASSION FOR RED).
